This tutorial provides an overview of PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, that includes over 14 million citations for biomedical articles back to the 1950's. These citations are from MEDLINE and additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.

 This tour/tutorial of MedlinePlus provides an overview of this extensive consumer health information database hosted by the National Institutes of Health. In additional to basic consumer health information this site includes lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, health information from the media, and links to thousands of clinical trials. The site is updated daily.
