Recently handheld computers, or PDA’s (Personal Digital Assistants) as they are more commonly known, have become as ubiquitous as the stethoscope in modern medicine. In an effort to provide the University of South Alabama’s medical community with some of the PDA resources available on the Internet the Biomedical Library has created this page. Although many of these sites contain free programs, some may require personal registration. Similarly some of these sites are targeted at the medical community, while others contain general information about PDA's. We have tried to select reliable sources, but this list is by no means comprehensive.
