PATHFINDER: AIDS/HIV Resources
[Disclaimer]
This is a select list of print and Internet AIDS resources of interest to medical researchers.  Many more Internet resources, other than the ones listed, mention AIDS.   However, the following resources were selected and evaluated by a librarian for their content, currency, authority, and organization.

PRINT RESOURCES
There are many books and journals available in the University libraries on the topic of AIDS; all of these can be found using SOUTHcat (http://southcat.usouthal.edu/), the University libraries' online information system.
The Simple Search screen can be used to search for the topic as a keyword, title, title keyword or subject. Individual terms can be combined using Boolean operators such as "and" & "or."
The "Fill-In Form Search" allows more detailed searches by specifying exactly where terms are searched. In the example below "aids" is searched as a keyword anywhere in the record while "statistics" is specifically searched for in the subject field.
