The clinical case: Ms. Jones is a 36 year old woman with long
standing multiple sclerosis. She has recently read about a new promising
medication called Betaseron. Betaseron is a form of interferon. She has
been relapse free for 3 years but wants to know if she should be taking
this new treatment and how effective are interferons for MS.
