Viewing and printing Full Text articles (Full Text Manager)
The USA Biomedical Libraries provide electronic access to the Full Text
of over 120 journals linked directly from our Ovid MEDLINE system. Additional
Full Text journals are available from the Electronic
Publications link in the left column of the Biomedical
Library Home Page.
Viewing Full Text

Once you have completed your MEDLINE search strategy, use the Display link
to view the Titles of the retrieved Citations.

Click on the Full Text link to display
the full text of the selected article. Figures, Tables, and other graphics
will be included in the text, but in a thumbnail size.

To view a figure, table or graphic in full size, click on it. It will be
re-displayed as a separate page.

Use the Netscape Back button to return to the text of the article.
Printing Full Text

Wait for the document to be completely displayed. (Document Done
should appear at the bottom of the Netscape screen.)

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Full Text Manager:

Under Graphics Options select Full Size.

If emailing or saving to disk, under Format select the appropriate
computer type.

To print, select either appropriate format or HTML.

Click on Display to reformat the article without the Ovid buttons and with
the full size graphics.

Wait for the document to be completely displayed again. Use the
Netscape print button to print the complete article.
