Session Description:

This class will cover the creation and design of Web pages.

Outline:
Creating Web Pages Using Netscape Composer

  1. Button bar - font/alignment/color/size (W3 compliance)
  2. Horizontal line
  3. Add link
  4. Add image
  5. Link an image
  6. Create a table - with and without borders
  7. Spellcheck
  8. Ftpping and loading pages - default index.html default.html etc.
  9. Differences in web editors - frontpage/dreamweaver/hotdog/etc.
  10. Xml xhtml wap etc.
  11. Common html problems - upper case/lower case
 
Assignments:
  • Create a Web page incorporating previous class assignments or other topic of your choice.
  • Sign up for free Web site.
