   CHARLES R. JOSE HAMM JR. M.D. has been appointed interim medical
director of the neonatal intensive care unit at the University
of South Alabama Medical Center.

   Hamm, who is an assistant professor in the USA Department of
Pediatrics, is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical
Sciences College of Medicine. He conducted his residency at University
of Louisville, Kosair-Children's Hospital and fellowships at
the University of Louisville School of Medicine and John Hopkins
Hospital.
