   DR. JAMES DOWNS, assistant professor of pathology at the University
of South Alabama College of Medicine and state medical examiner
at the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences, has been named
a consultant for the Behavioral Sciences Unit at the FBI Academy
in Quantico, Va.

   Downs now routinely works directly with FBI agents to help solve
forensic pathology cases.
