*At the University of South Alabama Library through March 3, the second Art in Science - Percipio - will be on exhibit in the third floor art gallery. Percipio is a program that was developed by the Center for Lung Biology to display an artistic side of scientific research in the College of Medicine at USA. The show consists of more than 30 colorful framed images that were created by USA researchers in the process of conducting their hypothesis-driven research. The goal of Percipio is to educate the community about science through art. Also on display are the interpretations of the 2003 Percipio Inaugural Exhibit by fourth- and fifth-grade honor students at Rockwell Elementary School. The show is free, and the gallery is open during regular library hours. For information, access library.southalabama.edu/.
