Circulation Desk: Guidelines and Location of Campus Site Study Rooms and Classroom by Room Number
Study Rooms One through Four (218, 219, 329, 330):
These rooms may be reserved in advance for up to four hours at a time by students in Allied Health, Nursing, and the Ph.D. students in Basic Medical Sciences. Students may advance reserve one four hour block per day up to one week in advance (call for more details).  To reserve a room, call 460-7043. We do not guarantee specific room numbers. If you do not check out the key within 15 minutes of your reservation then we reserve the right to give the room to someone else. When Rooms One through Four are not reserved, students in the Colleges of Allied Health, Medicine and Nursing may use them on an as available basis. Group study rooms are reserved for groupes of two or more.

Study Rooms Five through Seven (321, 331, 332):
These rooms may be reserved in advance for up to four hours at a time by College of Medicine students.  Students may advance reserve one four hour block per day up to one week in advance (call for more details).  To reserve a room, call 460-7043. If you do not check out the key within 15 minutes of your reservations then we reserve the right to give the room to someone else. When Rooms Five through Seven are not reserved, students in the Colleges of Allied Health, Medicine and Nursing may use them on an as available basis. Group study rooms are reserved for groupes of two or more.

Study Rooms 333 through 340:
These rooms are restricted to College of Medicine I-IV students on an as available basis.

Classroom: Room 217:
This classroom is available for meetings, seminars, and individual class sessions for the students, faculty and/or staff of the Colleges of Allied Health Professions, Medicine, and Nursing. Biomedical Library teaching activities have priority in room use. The room is NOT available for ongoing University classes. During unscheduled times the classroom will be available to groups (of two or more students) for use as a study space.

Historical Room (3rd floor):
The historical room may be used for meetings, seminars and individual class sessions when the regular classroom (217) is in use. It may also be used by students for group study when all other such rooms are currently in use. This room may not be reserved in advance and has a strict NO FOOD or DRINK policy due the the nature of the room's contents.

NOTE:
If the need arises that you must leave the building, drop the key off at the circulation desk and ask that it be held for you. If after twenty minutes the key has not been picked up, we reserve the right to give the room to someone else.

Keys must NOT be taken from the building. A fine of $25.00 will be assessed for lost keys.

If you lock the key in the room, go to the Circulation Desk on the first floor. Proper identification will be required before we unlock a room. (Key given only to person who has checked out the room.) Keys to rooms are non-transferrable. Person who checks out the key must occupy the room. Abuse of any of these policies may result in the loss of room reservation privileges.

This policy is effective January 1, 2008.
