The theme for this year's meeting is “From
Idea to Impact: Health Information and
Technology”. In support of our theme,
we offer two excellent CE courses. On
Thursday morning Charles
Wessel of the
University of Pittsburgh will teach “Number,
Number, Who's Got the Number? Or Who's
Counting: Health Statistics Sources”.
That same afternoon, Dale
Prince from
the National Network of Libraries of
Medicine will present his workshop “Geeks
Bearing Gifts: unwrapping new technology
trends”. Come join us for these great
CE opportunities, get ideas and make
an impact!
The location
of this year's meeting offers inviting
beaches and spectacular views of the
Gulf of Mexico. Perdido
Beach Resort lies directly on
the beach in Orange Beach , AL. Included
in your packet is information about things
to do and places to go in the area. For
those of you who may wish to extend your
